What Is a Singapore Student Pass?
A Student Pass (STP) is issued by ICA and allows foreign students to study full-time at approved Singapore institutions.
Step-by-Step Application
- Step 1: Secure a Letter of Acceptance from your chosen Singapore school
- Step 2: School or student agent submits via SOLAR system
- Step 3: ICA processes in 2–4 weeks and issues IPA letter
- Step 4: Travel to Singapore with IPA, passport, and documents
- Step 5: Report to ICA within 7 days to collect Student Pass card
Documents Required
- Valid passport (6+ months validity)
- Letter of Acceptance from school
- Recent passport-size photos
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Proof of financial ability (bank statements)
